While the Ministry of Environment has approved a series of alternative standards for your Hamilton plant, as a resident of Hamilton I am urging you to take stronger measures! A plan that will only achieve a 27% reduction in cancer-causing benzo(a)pyrene is not good enough. I urge you to commit to solutions that will allow AM-Dofasco to reach the province's new air quality standards as quickly as possible. We are counting on you to do the right thing and protect the health and well-being of the community you and your company are part of. We deserve to have good neighbours!
